Help in getting your vehicle repaired following a car accident, motorcycle accident etc.
If your vehicle has been damaged in a Road Traffic Accident, whether it is a car, van, motorbike, lorry, taxi etc. then it will require repair.
So if you have been involved in a Road Traffic Accident that wasn't your fault then we can arrange to have your vehicle collected & arrange to have your vehicle repaired. It doesn't matter if you have comprehensive or third party car insurance, because you will not be claiming off your policy, which protects your no claim bonus and means that you won't have to pay your policy excess for making a claim on your car insurance policy. The cost of your vehicle repairs will be paid for by the other parties' car insurance company.
Getting your vehicle repairs underway as soon as you contact us following your road traffic accident. When you get in touch we will ask you for the following information:
We will also need
Even if you don't have the full details of the person who caused the road traffic accident, we may still be in a position to help you as we may be able to trace the other person, through various sources including the police (if they attended the scene of the accident) and the DVLA database.
Should the other person for whatever reason be untraceable or uninsured, then there is still the possibility that we may still be able to pursue a claim for your personal injuries and for the damage to your vehicle through an organisation called the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB). The MIB is an organisation funded by the insurance industry to assist people who have been the victims of road traffic accidents where the other person involved in the accident was untraceable or uninsured driver.
Once we have established that the other party was at fault we will then instruct an independent insurance company approved engineer to inspect your vehicle. They will assess how badly damaged your vehicle is and then produce a written report outlining the estimated cost of repairs. We will liaise with the other person's insurance company and give you the go ahead for you to book your vehicle to be repaired at an insurance company approved body shop.
Whilst your vehicle is off the road and being repaired we will arrange a hire car for you to use on a like for like basis, which means that it will be an equivalent model to your own. So if you need a people carrier because you have a large family or a prestige car for your job, that's what will be provided for you to drive. The hire car will be fully insured and will be paid for by the insurance company of the person who caused the accident. If your own vehicle is un-roadworthy or un-driveable following your road traffic accident then we can usually get a replacement vehicle to you the same day you contact us. The cost of the hire car will be met by the other parties insurance company.
If your road traffic accident was serious enough to have damaged your vehicle to the point where it has been written-off, then we can instruct an independent, insurance company approved engineer to inspect and assess the value of your vehicle and produce an independent report. We will liaise with the insurance companies of the people involved in the accident and forward the engineer's report to the person a fault's insurance company, requesting they forward you a cheque for the pre-accident value of your vehicle.
The sum of money will reflect the current market value of your vehicle in the condition it was in before you had the road traffic accident and should be sufficient to enable you to replace your vehicle with one of the same age, mileage, condition and specification.
If you or one of your passengers were injured in your non-fault accident then we can also help you or them make a road accident compensation claim for any personal injuries that you or they may have suffered. Whether you sustained just cuts and bruises or whiplash symptoms or much more serious injuries, we can help you claim traffic accident compensation.
Our personal injury solicitors are experts in dealing with road traffic accident compensation claims and they help people like you make compensation claims on a daily basis. All our solicitors work on a no win, no fee basis and you are presently protected from any costs.
As you have probably realised by now, our service is totally free to yourself and to any of your passengers who suffered personal injuries in your road accident. We can also help you recover other losses such as your insurance excess (if you decide to claim on your own policy for the damage to your vehicle), loss of earnings, taxi fares, phone bills or any other costs you have incurred as a result of your road traffic accident.
