Whilst your vehicle is off the road and being repaired we will arrange a hire car for you to use on a like for like basis, which means that it will be an equivalent model to your own. So if you need a people carrier because you have a large family or a prestige car for your job, that's what will be provided for you to drive. The hire car will be fully insured and will be paid for by the insurance company of the person who caused the accident. If your own vehicle is un-roadworthy or un-driveable following your road traffic accident then we can usually get a replacement vehicle to you the same day you contact us. The cost of the hire car will be met by the other parties insurance company.

If your road traffic accident was serious enough to have damaged your vehicle to the point where it has been written-off, then we can instruct an independent, insurance company approved engineer to inspect and assess the value of your vehicle and produce an independent report. We will liaise with the insurance companies of the people involved in the accident and forward the engineer's report to the person a fault's insurance company, requesting they forward you a cheque for the pre-accident value of your vehicle.

The sum of money will reflect the current market value of your vehicle in the condition it was in before you had the road traffic accident and should be sufficient to enable you to replace your vehicle with one of the same age, mileage, condition and specification.
